Frequently Asked Questions
Will botulinum toxin make my face look feminine?
Not if it's dosed for a male face. The risk comes from treating a man on a female protocol — over-relaxing the forehead lifts the brow into an arch, which reads as feminine. Male foreheads generally need a flatter, more conservative result, and masseter treatment actually sharpens the jawline rather than softening it.
How long does filler last?
Broadly twelve to eighteen months for structural hyaluronic acid on the jaw and chin, less in areas with more movement. It doesn't disappear on a fixed date — it softens gradually, which is why most men top up rather than start again.
Can it be undone if I don't like it?
Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, usually within a day or two of treatment, and we offer that as a standalone service. Botulinum toxin can't be reversed, but it wears off in three to four months.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Small injection marks and some swelling for a day or two, occasionally bruising with filler. Most men book it around work rather than taking time off.
What's the difference between Profhilo and filler?
Filler adds structure in a specific place — a jaw angle, a chin projection. Profhilo and skin boosters don't add shape at all; they improve the quality of the skin itself, its hydration and firmness. They solve different problems and are often used together.
