Will a transplant stop my hair loss?
No. A transplant moves DHT-resistant follicles into thinning areas — it restores density where it's placed, but the surrounding native hair carries on receding unless you treat the underlying process. That's why we plan maintenance medication alongside surgery, not after it.
Am I too young for a transplant?
Possibly. Transplanting early in an aggressive pattern can produce a result that looks wrong in a decade, as the hair behind it recedes and leaves an island. For younger men we often recommend stabilising medically first and revisiting surgery once the pattern is clearer.
Does PRP for hair actually work?
It has reasonable support for early-to-moderate thinning, where follicles are miniaturising but still alive. It won't regrow hair from scalp that's been bald for years — those follicles are gone. Setting that expectation honestly is part of the consultation.
How many days do I need in Thailand for a transplant?
Most patients travel for two to three days and fly home after day two, with minimal downtime. The consultation happens online before you travel, so the surgical plan is ready when you land.
Shaven or non-shaven?
Shaven allows more grafts — 3,000 versus 2,400–2,500 — and is easier to work with. Non-shaven lets you return to work without an obvious recovery. It's a genuine trade-off between coverage and discretion, and it's your call.
